This really happened when I was little.
My parents' & neighbors' perspective from the back deck: suddenly all the kids come running out of the field toward the house yelling "Tommy caught a snake!"

This is great! I love the drawing and really appreciate your showing progression. I'd love to know what you did next. Was it colored in Photoshop or Painter or did you do it with paint? I really like your work.

Thank you for your comments! In a way I am pleased that it is not obvious that this illustration is digital. After my final drawing in pencil, I scanned it into my computer and colored it with Photoshop: but all color areas are actually scanned watercolory textures, not just solid digitalcolor. The line drawing is on "multiply" filter on top of the colors.
I hadn't saved the image at each step, so I don't have the color steps of progress to post.
I love pictures with a real-life story! Nice perspective and FUN drawing!
Nice illustration, I like all the action going on, and what a fun story!
